Does the Bible verify Science..

or the other way around...?

There are scriptures in the Bible that were written thousands of years prior to when man put many of the discoveries that we are aware of on the history books. Actually, the writers of the early scriptures that make up the Bible made the discovery by their mentioning the fact, so yes, modern scientists are verifying, inadvertantly, the power and knowledge of the Bible. Below are some examples of what scientests are confirming that the spirit led writers of the Bible wrote a long time ago.

In the Old Testament, Isaiah writes about the roundness of the earth. Remember Chistopher Columbus and others thought the world was flat...
Isaiah 40:22 - "It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth"

Matthew Maury (1806 - 1873) discovered the currents of the oceans that run for hundreds of miles in various directions. The travels of certain species of fish are being monitored as they use different currents for their migrations.
Psalms 8:8 - "And the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas"

Scientists discovered "the weight of the wind" and that water also has weight. Job mentions this
3,500 years ago.
Job 28:25 - " To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure".

A Scientist, James Clerk Maxwell, discovered in 1864 that radio waves moves at the speed of light. Thus, you can have wireless communication almost instantaneously with someone many miles away.
Job 38:35 - (God speaking to Job) "Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are?"

A. Cressy Morrison , a president of the New York Academy of Sciences and a fellow of the American Museum of Natural History, wrote the book, "Man Does Not Stand Alone". He is not the only scientist that insists that the unique design of living creatures and the individuality of the planets is, clearly not formed by accident or some random mixture of elements over millions of years.
He notes - (slightly paraphrased) " the birds that fly south and return to their same homes in spring, sometimes exactly to their same nests that they built, homing pigeons get momentarily confused by a loud sound or strong wind but will fly to their to designated home. The Owl can see a small mouse in the darkest of night running through the grass.

Scallops have several dozen eyes with thousands of reflectors that enable it to see right side up...Was the development of these reflectors due to lack of superior brain power in scallop?..Insects have hundreds of microscopic parts that make up their eyes...
There must have been some help by some powerful force and intelligence along the way..."
