What is faith ?...What is Religion ?

The best way for me to explain this is faith is simply putting your trust in a set of truths, in some entity or person or in some life guiding principle that you strongly believe in.  While religion is an organized set of beliefs/rules that are to help one achieve some level of oneness or achieve some success of having eternal life in some way or form.  Thus religion will generate a form of faith that anyone will have so religion is the basis of having some level of a faith in something.

The Biblical definition of faith is being certain of what you hope for and believing without seeing.  That being said I need to declare that Christianity
is not a religion, it's relationship based belief.

If you look closely at the life of Jesus, which is well documented, he makes statements that turn the whole religion thing upside down. (Besides the fact that Jesus rose from the dead and to this day nobody has successfully disproved this)  One of Jesus' most famous quotes is "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.." found in the book of John, chapter 3, verse 16.   Also another quote and there are several like this, "Whoever receives one child like this in my name (talking about accepting orphans or the powerless) receives me and whoever receives me receives he (the father) who sent me.."  Mark  9:37
